Tiffany Parker is a proud Kingwood resident of 31 years. As the mother to her 3-year old son, Sinatra, and wife of 7 years to husband, Jeremy, she is always busy and likes to be an active member of the community. Tiffany has several businesses geared towards being a strong member of our community. She is an introvert who likes to use her community connections to meet people and interact with people from all over Kingwood. Tiffany loves doing DIY projects and has two YouTube channels. Her goal is to be a trusted and inspirational member of this community.

Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
“I own several business here in Kingwood. The Livable Forest is an organization geared to uniting and promoting businesses. The Livable Forest perk card offers members discounts at area businesses and runs a website geared to marketing member businesses. On the website members can log in to a members only chat room and host an online marketplace. Through my business Koutour Events I host 12 yearly markets in Kingwood Town Center. Events include BooFest, the Beer Block Party and the Kingwood Christmas Market. Finally, “Coffee, Body, and Soul” is my business providing affordable home luxuries and products such as chunky blankets, candles, coffee, home scents and scrubs. The thing I love most about running my businesses is the community. I love making things people love and can afford. I want to be a part of the culture of the community.”

Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
“Carrabba’s, Hacienda Palomas, and La Madeline!”

Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
“31 years (my whole life!)”

Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
“Richard Abram”

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
“Europe–I want to tour Europe for 6 months. My grandparents once toured Europe and loved it. I want to experience that as well.”

Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
“I love watching the Hallmark channel. If I need some drama, I’ll watch Lifetime original movies.”

Q: What advice would you give to people?
“Be patient, have a spine, and enjoy the ride! I’m learning patience in my own life…everything doesn’t always happen right when you want it to.”

Q: What is something on your bucket list?
“I honestly haven’t even thought of that!”

Q: What is your go to band when you can’t decide what to listen to?
“Sarah Bareilles”

Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?
“I remember The Blockbusters and the Hallmark store. My grandmother would take me in there to see the Christmas towns and play with Beanie Babies.”

Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
“Ty (owner of Town Center) and we would go to Carrabbas because I love it!”

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
“There are so many families who have been here for generations. It’s a close knit community. And the residents here are very involved in the community. There are fun sub-cultures that exists within the different villages which I find interesting.”

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
“I see myself doing everything I’m still doing but in a more hands off capacity. I’d like to be on a board to help make decisions that influence the community. I want to travel…see some small towns.”

Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
“I’m so transparent that there’s not a lot. I was raised by my grandparents. I didn’t actually go to college.”

Q: What is the most beautiful place you have ever been?
“White Plains, New York; Passing through Pennsylvania was peaceful and pretty.”

Q: Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
“November-just starting to get cool; I love Fall! Christmas–I celebrate Christmas for months! August 5, my son’s birthday!”

“I can’t think of much…”

“My grandmother and my mother.”

“Dulce by Dulce and Gabbana and Coco Cashmere”
