I am a writer and photographer. Mom to a special needs cutie named Isaac. He has autism and he doesn’t talk and sometimes makes funny noises. But he loves to dance, jump on trampolines and swim. I am learning to accept the life I live that looks very different than I thought it would. But in a way I guess that is everyone’s story.

I love connecting with people. I enjoy writing and taking photos because I get to connect with other humans. I have also been known to plan girl’s trips with friends or organize cooking or game nights.

When we can find a qualified sitter, my husband Walt and I love to try new foods or go kayaking and fishing.

Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
Walt is a geologist for Chevron and has a sweet job. He basically tells them how to make millions of dollars finding oil. Isaac is 6 and goes to school at Including Kids. He is working on listening, transitioning appropriately and playing with toys.

Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I worked in marketing/communications departments of hospitals for five years. When we adopted Isaac at birth, he had a lot of complications and appointments so I quit my job to help him. Now I own Tiffany Harston Photography and do family portraits and headshots and branding for businesses. I love being able to be creative and also connect with other people.
