I help give back to the community through Helping Heroes Outdoors which is a not profit that supports veterans and first responders that need support adjusting after time servicing our country and community. Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
I am blessed with a beautiful wife, Dea, and 8 year old boy, Clay. They are my why.

Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I spend 24 years in transportation. 19 of those years were with FedEx Ground where I concluded my career managing one of the largest operations in the country.

Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
Chachi’s and Taste of Thai and Sushi – We love to stay local and support our community.

Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
2 Years. New to the area but lived in Texas our whole lives. We fell in love with Kingwood at first visit and moved.

Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
Cameron Hayes – Edward Jones – Former vet with the army and navy. Graduated from Annapolis. Very accomplished for his young age.

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
Colorado – I love the mountains. Love the climate. Outstanding Winters and event better summers

Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
The Office. Drive my wife crazy because I have seen every episode multiple times.

Q: What advice would you give to people?
Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it is about learning to dance in the rain.

Q: What is something on your bucket list?
Travel to Fiji for a month.

Q: What is your go to band when you can’t decide what to listen to?
Robert Earl Keen – Texas Country

Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?
Chachi’s – The story of Harvey and how the workers and community fought for each other during the tragedy.

Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
Warren Buffet – Not only the fact that he has made crazy amounts of money but more of his perspective on how he invests and his optimism is contagious.

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
The Trails, The Forest, The Outdoors, The Community Feel, The Lake, The Kiddos Education. This is like no place I have ever lived before

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
Clay will be graduating from High School so probably still enjoying this great community and helping to guide him through decisions.

Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
I am a pretty open book but my wife and I dated for about 12 years before we got married.

Q: What is the most beautiful place you have ever been?
Maui for the beaches and Colorado for the mountains

Q: Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
November, I love fall and cooling off after a hot summer. Thanksgiving. There are no obligations other than eating. Christmas – there is nothing like Christmas with young kids around.
