I am a business owner of a catering company; In House Chefs. I’m married to my amazing husband, Chef Adrian for 12 years. My kids are the joy of my life; Selma (10yrs), Jackson (6yrs). My life is dedicated to my family and to my community. I volunteer at my kid’s school, activities and various organization to give to the youth what I wish I had growing up. This pandemic didn’t break me, it just made me wiser and smarter!

Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
What I love the most is the people. We meet new people everyday and they want something amazing for their event but I fall in love with the why of their event. Why do they want it so special? What will make it the most amazing event ever? So I love going deep when it comes to our events.

Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
It’s very hard to impress us on restaurants because we are in the food business. So I’d rather not say. lol

Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
12 years strong!

Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
Most interesting person has to be Dan Crenshaw. Great guy! Loves the community.

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
I’m a beach girl so it seems simple but Hawaii all day!

Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
I would have to say You is my new jam right now. Murder mystery type of things is 100% a guilty pleasure.

Q: What advice would you give to people?
Run your race. You can’t run others who seems they are ahead of you. Take the pace God has given you. You’ll never fail if you do.

Q: What is something on your bucket list?
Eat food from all over the world in the natural habitat.

Q: What is your go to band when you can’t decide what to listen to?

Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?
It’s not necessarily a business but certain parts of our community. I love going downtown humble because of the history but the town square in Kingwood reminds me we are always improving ourselves.

Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
MLK. We would meet in town square just to show the diversity we have in the area and how much life and time has changed for the better.

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
I love how family oriented we are here. It is always a joy, never having to apologize for having family, having a babysitter not show up or something related when dealing with business because everyone gets it.

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
Still living here, making a difference in our community.

Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
I was indeed a pageant queen in my small town in Ohio.
